  • sdg-7

SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy

1,111,702 MWh of renewable energy delivered to the national grid.

  • sdg-8

SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth

17 local jobs created in compliance with local labor standards.

  • sdg-13

    SDG 13 – Climate Action

Achieved 462,223 tCO₂e of verified emission reductions.

🌱 Local Co-Benefits for People and Nature

In addition to emissions reductions, the project’s activities include fauna monitoring to help conserve local biodiversity, sustained job creation under fair labor practices, and local tax contributions that support municipal growth. The Aqualuz Project’s safe water access highlights how clean energy projects can strengthen communities far beyond the grid.

A Broader Vision for Climate and Community Well-Being

The Assuruá I Wind Power Plant shows how modern renewable energy investments can simultaneously tackle climate change, expand clean power access, and deliver co-benefits like safe water for vulnerable families (SDG 6). The project’s dedication to real, measurable improvements makes it a strong example of climate action with a community-first approach.

✅ Key SDG Focus: Availability of clean drinking water (SDG 6) — ensuring healthier, more resilient communities in Brazil.
